Kate Hathaway performs as MWM in this new originals project.
Hailing from the USA Midwest in Illinois, Kate grew up with music in the family including a Grandad with a rich musical history in Chicago.
Kate has been performing professionally since a young teen and sometimes says she wouldn’t be so good if their winter’s weren’t snowed in for months at home. “I would have probably been at the beach if I lived in Australia….. but I would still take a guitar for the bonfire”.
Kate leads the show with her ever sweet vocals, while playing guitar and charango.

Australian grown and well-travelled.
Michael met Kate Hathaway while they were both living in Nashville, Tennessee.
A songwriter, multi instrumentalist, event organiser, educator, instrument builder, owner at Mothertone.
